Worthing’s vegetarian and vegan market has expanded rapidly in the last few years.
There is no need to travel further afield to get all of your vegan needs. Most places now have vegan options on their menu, making it easy to decide where you want to eat!

🌿Cactus Kitchen Gals
Worthing’s first all vegan eatery.  Placed opposite the Rocking Horse, this plant based restaurant specialises in burgers.
They label themselves as “Good  Bad Vegan Food”.
They sell breakfast, lunch and dinner with an array of cake and sweet treats. They also take private orders for celebration cakes, brownie trays and donuts.

 🌿The Orchard Café
The Orcard café is homemade magic. Their breakfast menu is vast and varied, from pancakes to cooked breakfasts and bowls. They offer other dishes too apart from pancakes, such as vegan breakfast and lunch, as well as savories and cakes.
They offer veggie, non vegan and gluten free options too.

 🌿Pizzaface
Going to a pizza place and ordering a vegetarian pizza and asking them to take the cheese off, is  a habit vegans don’t have to do any more. Pizzaface have two other stores in Hove & Brighton, and opened up a third store in Worthing in 2016.
Their quirky pizza names combined with the pure pizza goodness makes it a staple. You can dine in, or opt for a delivery.

 🌿The Happy Teapot
When you have the urge for tea and cake, but are scratching your head for a vegan cake place – The Happy Teapot!
All of their cakes are homemade with non-vegan, gluten free cakes all available too.
They do a vegan food menu, from burgers to hot dogs all with very generous helpings.
The Happy Teapot also do vegan afternoon tea.

 🌿Boho Gelato
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.
Boho Gelato expanded opening a shop in Worthing on Montague Street, selling handmade Italian style ice cream.
With flavours on offer such as carrot cake, pear and chocolate; they really excel any vanilla option counterpart.

 🌿Field Row Bakery & Take away
Tucked away in Field Row is the mecca for all work lunches. It is a family run business, with a menu catered for all diets.
Inside they have their own shop selling local delights, highlighting and supporting fellow independent businesses.

🌿Streets Cafe Worthing
in 2019 Streets Cafe starting selling vegan Mr. Whippy Ice cream and was soon introduced into Worthing’s Vegan hall of fame. Their menu is vast and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. From salads to more hearty comfort food, there is also a selection of homemade cakes and treats on the counter which is washed down perfectly by their mylkshakes.
They sell food that is catered for all diets.

 🌿Aunty Bunny’s Hut
Found in Montague Quarter Aunty Bunny’s is a fusion of Caribbean and Spanish street food.  From stew to Quesadillas it puts the soul in soul food. They also have music nights and a great cocktail menu. Non Vegan options available too.

🌿Thai Street Food
Selling fresh local, authentic Thai food in Bath Place. Tucked away in the street, it really is a hidden gem of Worthing.
It is a family run restaurant serving you vegan goodness in a relaxed style of dining.

🌿Conscious Cow
Conscious Cow started as a mobile catering service. The family run business has now opened an entirely vegan shop and cafe!
Offering cakes and lunch based options, such as paninis and sandwiches. As well as vegan products such as toiletries food and holding workshops and events too!

 🌿The Woods Burger Kitchen 
Creating unique burgers made with fresh local ingredients, The Woods Burger Kitchen has a passion for food!
They have a complete Vegan Menu with unusual names such as Easy-E (tortilla wrap) and Feeling Cute lol (Moving Mountains burger) this quirky independent has something for everyone.

🌿Wine & Reason
Wine & Reason offer a wide range of wines, that are easily labelled for the plant based diners. Their kitchen boasts colourful vegan food for all, if you fancy something smaller they do tapas dishes with special offers on 2-1 on certain days. Enjoy a fine local wine, with fresh food all while looking onto the seafront. A true delight in the heart of Worthing.
